Responsible for producing and laying out publications and sending them to press. Transfers articles, charts, maps and data from raw format into a unique issue. Obtains advertisements from Marketing and places them within the publications. Ensures that all edits are made to the publication. Sends the publication to the printer in a timely manner.
2. Responsible for completing production portion of purchase orders.
3. Creates reprints of articles and content for clients.
4. Creates maps and charts to accompany articles online and in print publications.
5. Tests ads from outside companies to make sure they are compatible with publications.
6. Performs tests with publishing software for the Department, and help troubleshoot issues that may arise.
7. Maintains the Production Department website.
8. May supervise and train other employees.
9. Completes other assignments and tasks as assigned
Experience:
Minimum two years of experience working with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and MS Office applications in a Windows environment or equivalent external experience. Experience compiling information and materials from a variety of sources to produce a product within strict deadlines. Experience working in an art or graphic design-related capacity preferred
Education:
BA/BS, degree in Art/Graphic Design or analytic field preferred.
Salary is Rs. 18,000/month.
- There is a disturbance allowance to work the night shift of an additional Rs. 8,000.
- Incentives are guaranteed for the first two quarters; incentives range between 15-40% on quarterly salary.
- Medical insurance coverage is also provided for fulltime analysts and their immediate families.
- This is a night shift job where timings are 12AM - 9AM.
- Position requires candidate to sign a two-year bond with company at employment.
- Free Pick-up and drop facility.
- Five day working week
